This lot is for a 1927 US Special Delivery Stamp, featuring a motorcycle messenger. It was issued Nov. 29, 1927 and was printed by rotary press. Special Delivery stamps were used as a pre-payment for an extra service that ensured immediate delivery of a letter within one mile of a special delivery Post Office. This stamp is in good condition and has never been posted. I do not know the grade. This stamp would make a wonderful addition to any stamp collection.
